Scholarship Silent Auction and Raffle

Purpose

Scholarship Silent Auction & Raffle (Spring) fundraiser is solely for the Scholarship Fund! It is held in conjunction with the End of the Year Concert. You can help with this by getting goods and services from local businesses to "auction" off, or by helping set up or take down the auction itself. Usually, two or three large items are offered as raffle prizes. You can help with this part of the event by securing those items, or selling tickets, or manning the ticket sales booth. There are many ways to volunteer. Be on the lookout for more information as the year progresses.

The students help by putting together theme "section baskets" which are then offered up for auction as part of the silent auction.

The evening starts with a Silent Auction of items of interest to the Band Booster parents, other parents and the Cedar Park community. Once the Silent Auction is closed, the CPHS band performs its End-of-Year Concert while the bids are tabulated. At the close of the concert, the checkbooks come out, merchandise is purchased and the auction is complete.

A copy of the fundraiser donation Thank You letter can be found HERE (pdf - you can type in the "Dear" line and print), please use it when approaching businesses for donations to the band program.

Early Auction Bidding

Want to get a jumpstart on the bidding? Maybe you can't make it to the auction, or just have a itch to get a bid in now to try to lock something up! We are opening up the bidding from now until midnight May 13th for sealed/secret bids. You can submit bids for any items you like by visiting the online bid page which you can find HERE, so bid early and often!

• The bids will go to an auction chairperson, who will seal them in an envelope.
• The envelopes will be opened AFTER all the onsite bidding is completed, and compared to the high bid for an item, possibly becoming the new high bid!

So, go ahead and bid high for something you really want, you may just walk away with it..... Check the page often as we will be adding any new items as they come in and updating missing values/descriptions/pictures/etc.
